Adam is one of the founding members of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Freedom of Speech and has served as Chair since the first AGM.

Formed in October 2020, the APPG represents a cross-party group of MPs and Peers who seek to promote and protect freedom of speech and ensure that the issue is properly represented and explored across Parliament.
