Windsor MP Appeals
for Help for Sean Gold
07-Jul-06, Press Release.
Adam Afriyie MP has appealed for help for one of
his constituents. Sean Gold is nine years old and was
diagnosed with cancer at the age of seven. He has had to
undergo extensive chemotherapy and has had one leg
amputated.
Sean is being assisted by the Sebastian’s Action Trust,
an Ascot-based charity which seeks to support families of
children diagnosed with cancer.
The Trust is currently looking for people to help with
improving Sean’s garden. They have a basic plan for a
decking area and lawn, and the idea is that the garden is as
low maintenance as possible.
They also wish to level and turf one area of the garden
so that Sean can get out and kick a football.
The Trust is looking for businesses to donate decking, a
summer-house, artificial grass, low maintenance shrubs,
containers and garden furniture.
Adam Afriyie MP commented:
“Sean’s illness has often prevented him from doing the
things other little boys enjoy.
“I do hope that the local community will rally round Sean
and offer their help and support because there is nothing
more important to any of us than our children”
Anyone who can help should contact Sebastian’s Action
Trust on 01344 622500.
