MP ‘tops out’ new business park development
Thursday, 4th December 2008. Press Release.
Local MP, Adam Afriyie, visited the new Ascot Business Park
on Friday, 28th November to declare the
development ‘topped out.’
The new £25m development will create new office, warehouse,
industrial and studio accommodation, as well as providing
employment for some 400 people.
Speaking at the event, Mr Afriyie said:
“It was a pleasure to declare the development ‘topped out’
because of the many benefits it can bring to the area, and
not least in the
attraction of new
businesses.
It is an environmentally friendly development and I was
encouraged that the
developers both consulted local residents and sought the
advice of hard-working local councillors throughout.
We now look forward to witnessing the
substantial Section
106 payment being used to
improve local facilities such as Ascot Railway Station”
